Kyle Simmons

Kyle Simmons, PharmD, BCPS, BCSCP is the Director of Pharmacy at Genefic Infusion RX and an avid endurance athlete.

He graduated with a bachelor’s in biology from UNO in 2005 which laid the foundation for his journey. He later pursued his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Xavier University of Louisiana in 2011, followed by a prestigious postdoctoral clinical residency program at Ochsner Medical Center.

Kyle holds dual board certifications in pharmacotherapy and sterile compounding. He is one of only eight pharmacists in Louisiana with a sterile compounding board certification.

Alongside managing pharmaceutical operations, he’s conquered numerous marathons, two 50-mile ultra marathons, and excelled in triathlons. In 2022, he secured a bronze medal in his age category at his first sprint triathlon. Since then, he’s completed multiple half and full Ironman competitions, earning him the title of Ironman All World Athlete in 2024, with a top 10% global ranking for his age group.

Wendy LaCaze is a proud Veteran of the Mississippi Air National Guard and a dedicated nursing professional with over 27 years of experience in healthcare. She embarked on her nursing journey by graduating from Louisiana Technical College as an LPN in 1997. Driven by a passion for nursing, she furthered her education at Charity School of Nursing, where she earned an associate’s degree in nursing in 2004.

Throughout her extensive career, Wendy has cared for patients across a diverse range of settings, including hospitals, surgery, hospice, and infusion therapy. Her expertise and compassionate approach have made her a valuable asset in each of these environments. Wendy’s dedication to patient care is matched by her commitment to team development and leadership, ensuring high standards of care and collaboration within her teams.

Her work in infusion therapy is particularly inspiring, as Wendy emphasizes a modern approach combined with strong, trusted relationships to deliver exceptional patient care. She and her team are experienced, qualified, compassionate, and adaptable, focusing on helping patients manage their health successfully at home.
